Shipping Policy

Lead Times

Lead times differ for each product. If a product is "in stock" it is most likely in our warehouse and will usually dispatch within 1-3 business days.

All other applicable products will display a general lead time which reflects the usual time-frame to import the product from our supplier, based on our most recent shipments. Please note that these general lead times are simply broad estimates to help our customers make purchase decisions and in no way reflect an exact shipping time. These general lead times do not supersede the estimated time of arrival (ETA) supplied by Mondoluce via quotes, orders, or direct inquiries. As such, we encourage customers to contact us before placing an order for estimated lead times for any products not held at our warehouse.

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are provided at cart and checkout. Mondoluce reserves the right to cancel an order in exceptional cases where delivery results in unusually high shipping charges (remote locations, island deliveries, etc).

The shipping fee charged at checkout is for a standard delivery service (to door, ground floor only) and does not include unboxing or assembly.

Shipping Restrictions (NSW, VIC, SA, ACT only)

Mondoluce only offers delivery to New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Australian Capital Territory. Our products, however, are available across Australia from authorized retailers of Studio Italia. If you are located in another state, please contact us and we will put you in touch with your local agent.

Orders

Please make note of the following before placing an order:

  • – We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please ensure to provide a physical address for delivery.
  • – Phone numbers are required for all orders.
  • – At the shopping cart and checkout you will be given two delivery options. – Select Courier Delivery (ATL) if you would like the item delivered to your home and left in a safe place. Select Courier Delivery (no ATL) if the item is being delivered to a workplace open during working hours.
  • – Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. Mondoluce cannot be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.
  • – In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available.

Delivery

Stocked products are generally dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment. Upon dispatch, shipping confirmation and tracking numbers are sent to your nominated email address.

Most items are delivered within 3-7 business days, though please allow up to 10 business days from dispatch for all items to arrive.

Mondoluce uses third party courier services such as Direct Freight, TOLL and TNT to ship web orders. Please note that Mondoluce does not ship with Australia Post and, as such, is unable to ship to PO boxes or post offices.

Unsuccessful deliveries may incur delays and re-delivery fees. As such, we encourage our customers to use tracking information to ensure someone is present on delivery date. Alternatively, please select delivery option Courier Delivery (ATL) at checkout and your order will be left in a safe place if no one is present.

The delivery times provided by Mondoluce are estimates only. Mondoluce will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to deliveries.

Click & Collect

Click & Collect is available for customers who wish to pick-up their orders. NSW customers can collect their orders from our Surry Hills showroom, while VIC customers collect from our South Yarra showroom. To arrange pick-up, simply select "Click & Collect" as the delivery method at checkout when placing your order.

Once your order is placed, stock will be transferred to your closest collection point and prepared for pick-up (1-3 business days processing time). You will be notified as soon as your order is ready for collection. Proof of purchase and ID is required on pick-up.

Please wait until you receive confirmation your order is ready before attempting pick-up.

If you would like to make any special arrangements for pick-up (i.e. NSW customer collect from VIC), please contact us as soon as possible with your request.

Please note that the packaging of some products can be too large for a sedan. We will notify you if an ordered item is classed 'oversize' so arrangements can be made prior to pick-up.

Backorders

Mondoluce accepts backorders for items not stocked in our warehouse.

General turnaround times for backorders are displayed on product pages, however, we recommend customers contact us before placing backorders online if your require the item(s) by a specific time. For example, some items may be on order with stock due to arrive earlier than indicated. Conversely, we can advise of any potential delays which may aid your purchase decision.

To place a backorder online, simply add the product(s) to the cart and place and the order by completing the checkout. Full payment is required to finalise the order.

Our purchasing team will be in touch within 1 to 3 business days to confirm your order and will provide an estimated time of arrival (ETA) based on present supplier and shipping information. Customers may at this point cancel their backorder for a full refund if the ETA is unsuitable. If the customer agrees to the ETA and wishes to proceed, the backorder will be confirmed and stock will be secured and allocated for shipping. Once your order arrives to our warehouse, we will contact you to arrange delivery or pickup.

Please bear the following in mind when placing a backorder:

    • – All timeframes are "estimated" and are subject to unforeseeable delays.
    • – Mondoluce will endeavour to notify backorder customers of any major changes to an ETA as soon as possible.
    • – Mondoluce will not be held liable for any costs caused by a delayed order.
    • – If a customer chooses to cancel a backorder after approving the ETA provided by our purchasing team, a 30% re-stocking fee will be deducted from the refund or credit.
    • – In the unlikely event a backordered item is unavailable from our suppliers, Mondoluce will offer a like alternative or full refund.

    Air Freight

    Air freight can be an option for customers wanting to expedite the backorder process for an additional charge. Air freight is generally much faster than sea freight provided the item is readily available from our supplier, while costs vary greatly depending on size, quantity and location.
