Semai Pendant

The Semai Suspension Pendant is designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella. The Semai is made from gloss white mouth blown Murano triplex glass. The Glass is blown into a polyhedric burnished stainless steel cage. This free blowing technique makes each lamp unique and perfect for a wide range of residential and commercial applications.

Saggia & Sommella
Valerio Sommella designs different kinds of products – from furniture to consumer electronic goods and lighting – both for Italian and international clients, including Alessi, United pets, Kundalini, Falmec, Panasonic, Toyota, Honda, Konica Minolta. He also lectures at prestigious Italian design universities.
Alberto Saggia works with the firm Metis Lighting of Milan on international projects, dealing with industrial design and project management for renowned luxury brands. In recent years he has also held lighting design lessons in university courses, as well as being involved in design projects of decorative lighting for different firms.
