We're thrilled to announce Mondoluce will be featured in an upcoming episode of Australia ByDesign on Channel 10, showcasing the award-winning Lee House by Candalepas Associates.
This remarkable project, recipient of a 2024 AIA NSW Residential Architecture Award, transforms a historic 1850s fisherman's cottage into a stunning contemporary retreat in Watsons Bay. The design masterfully balances heritage and modernity, transitioning from a traditional weatherboard facade to a striking contemporary rear elevation framed by raw concrete, timber, and steel.
At the heart of the home's open living space, our Franco Albini AS41C pendant takes center stage. Its iconic mid-century design and adjustable suspension provide both functional flexibility and timeless elegance.
"We really like this light because of the adjustable aspect," explains Principal Architect Jason Williams of Candalepas Associates. "The light itself has a structure on top that allows the light to move around...and go up and down. So that means that the dining table can move ... and the light can be perfectly positioned.
