Neil Poulton

Neil Poulton is a Scottish product designer based in Paris, internationally recognised for his deceptively simple, mass-produced objects. With a background in industrial design from Napier University and a Master’s from Domus Academy in Milan, Poulton has built long-standing collaborations with leading brands such as Artemide and LaCie. His work spans lighting and technology, earning numerous accolades including multiple Red Dot and iF Design Awards, and the Compasso d’Oro Menzione d’Onore for the Veio lamp. Poulton’s designs are featured in major museum collections, including the V&A Dundee, and he is a frequent lecturer and juror at design institutions worldwide. His approach blends technical precision with minimalist elegance, making him a key figure in contemporary design.
