Hinaki Pendant
by David Trubridge
Hinaki was David Trubridge's first exploration into lighting in 1995 and has become an iconic designer staple ever since. David made a prototype based on fish traps which are called hinaki by Maori. Hinaki traps were made from woven vines, some in amazingly beautiful forms. The Hinaki comes in kitset to reduce the impact of freight on the environment.
