Pivotante A Poser
Innovative design for the 50s but still a contemporary table lamp. The lighting output is adjusted by the opening or closure of the volets. Its cylindrical body opens on two sides on which two diffusers rotate allowing the opening and closing of the light beam to adjust the light in a direct or indirect way. Steel base painted in matt grey, body in rolled metal sheet painted in a variety of finish options. Switch on cable.
Charlotte PerriandTo Charlotte Perriand, lamps were not a decorative element added for no reason, but a functional and technical component, a tool and an object answering to specific needs. Perriand’s minimalistic approach instills a timeless character in her creations: these are the “Useful Forms” that came from the movement she co-founded in 1949. Like Perriand’s furniture, her lamps are not immovable, but rotate and bend themselves, adjusting to our needs.
