Poc Pendant
by Vistosi
Designed by Barbara Maggiolo for Vistosi, the Poc Pendant is a study in how glass can shape light. Each sphere is mouth-blown in Murano in crystal white glass and holds a fine inner membrane that behaves like a lens, so the globe appears to be composed of two distinct halves. Because every membrane is rendered individually, no two pieces carry light in quite the same way, with subtle shifts in intensity and colour playing across the surface of each one. It is a quiet expression of Vistosi's Murano glassmaking heritage, where the character of the handmade process is part of the design itself. The Poc Pendant is offered in two sizes with a choice of metal finishes, and is available with either an integrated LED or a G9 lampholder. Handmade in Italy by Vistosi.
