Rina Ceiling Light

Designed by Barbara Maggiolo for Vistosi, the Rina Ceiling Light is inspired by the dandelion's feathery seed head. Fine white murrine are worked into the glass during blowing, creating a mottled surface that conceals the light source and casts a soft, speckled glow. Rina is available in three sizes, with matt steel (25 and 35 version) or matt white (42 version) metalware. Handmade in Italy by Vistosi.

Barbara Maggiolo
Barbara Maggiolo was born in Venice (1971) where she attended the Architecture University and the International Graphics School. After this she began to collaborate with different offices and firms taking care of graphics, show-room, fitting-out and image consultancy both in Italy and broad. She started to work for Vistosi in 2002 as the manager of firm image strategy. She has started to learn the glass working techniques. From here the passion for glass, seen as the object lighting and giving birth to her designer activity.Product Specifications
